How this image generator works
Overview
Create images from text for free without registering or buying MevoLab credits. This tool sends your prompt and generation settings to AI Horde, a community-powered network of image-generation workers. MevoLab provides the interface, tracks the request, and keeps your gallery in this browser.
MevoLab does not impose a daily generation quota. Because the underlying network is free and community-powered, generation time depends on the selected model, available workers, image size, priority, and how many requests are already waiting. Anonymous generation works without an API key, while an AI Horde key can provide higher priority.
NSFW prompts and results are filtered. There is no benefit in trying to generate explicit content because filtered requests will not deliver an image. Automated censorship can occasionally be overly strict and flag a safe prompt or image by mistake.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need an API key?
No. Generation is free and works anonymously without registration. Leave the field empty to use the shared anonymous key. A registered AI Horde key may receive higher queue priority.
Why is my image waiting?
AI Horde is a free distributed network, so many requests may already be queued. Waiting time depends on worker availability, model demand, image size, and priority.
Where is my gallery stored?
Gallery records and cached image data are stored in this browser when local storage is available.
What happens when no model is selected?
The generator tries the currently available filtered models and can retry another model if one rejects the request.
Can I generate NSFW images?
No. NSFW filtering is enabled and explicit requests or results will not produce a usable image. Automated filters can sometimes be too strict and may flag an otherwise safe prompt or result.
Is there a daily limit?
MevoLab does not set a daily image quota. Actual availability still depends on AI Horde’s community workers, queue, request policies, and service availability.
